Pre-investors are those who are not experienced financial professionals. These include close friends and relatives who have some extra money to invest in your company.
Professional investors who invest money but don’t actively participate in business management are considered passive investors. Angel investors are one instance. Active investors are people who invest money while also being actively involved in the company. They choose senior management, strategy, and other things.
